quitting a community
Mar. 20th, 2011 06:27 pmI've been hanging out in two or three headphone audiophile communities - i figured, unlike computers, i probably wouldn't worry too much about an inability to upgrade - and i'm fairly happy with my gear.
For one thing, there's too much.. drama - too much 'oh i know better than you' and too much BS. Lots of people more worried about what their gear is, and not what they use it for, and too much general silliness.
My involvement with IT sites has mostly been learning and sharing, not ... well, quite frankly pedantry..
so, yeah, those places arn't for me. I ain't getting anything out of them - i can have reasonable audiophile convos with people elsewhere if need be.
