 We've decided (well i suggested and falcon agreed) that we should start the beta for quine at the start of november with the public release in december, though we'll be working on the site after that too as needed.

The text below will be the 'boilerplate' beta invite post, but y'all get first crack when we start recruiting beta testers - let me know if you want in

Quine is aimed at being a site for serious discussion of therian topics, using a Q&A format (popularised by the stack overflow family of sites and yahoo answers.). As things are we're about to launch and need beta testers for the site.  Beta testers will need to do a few things - help seed the site with questions, get familiar with the format, and report any bugs they find so we can fix them. We'd probably need at least half a dozen, and we'd love it if we could see signs of life at least once or twice a week from beta testers.

We might have a phased beta, depending on the number of people who're interested, in order to have things manageable at first. 

In any case if you're interested, let me know and i'll look at hooking you up with the beta when we're ready :)
