Dec. 25th, 2011

I fixed 3 monitors that were in the office and failed one at a time (due to bad capacitors). While i can solder (and much to my dad's suprise, i crank out textbook perfect solders despite not soldering very often), i've never formally learnt to (or informally learnt to) fix electrical devices. First monitor took 4 hours to crack open (soldering is relatively easy), the second 20 minutes. I had the third one open in no time at all.

I need to remember, as long as i have the tools, and the confidence. I *can* do anything.
