I'be had to retire my old ipod due to bad sectors - If anyone knows how to get the darn thing to remap them, i'd be very greatful. Instead, i got a HFS+ formatted, used ipod in good condition for about 160 dollars, which should last me a while. There was some music on it and i have a list of it for anyone who feels voyuristic enough to peek into the music collection of whoever owned this last.
Now, by right chkdsk should fix it, but dosen't. I'm wondering if fdisk in linux will deal with it....
