(they are ) different ways that people who're in this community describe themselves - some people also refer to it as animalfolk/animalperson - and the sort of people mentioned in the description of the group. Basically people who, for some reason, believe that an integral part of themselves in a non physical sense is an animal. Its one of those ' if you need to ask' things. What it isn't is roleplay, or some club for cool people or something. Its something we live with, and is an essential, and integral part of our lives.

I'm quite often partially shifted, but over time, there's less of a distinction between human and (other stuff) While i think contherianthropy and syn/sun/vacillient therianthropy are silly things, the former simply means you don't shift, and are in a constant state - part animal/part human in terms of phantom mental and other such shifts. the latter means that your shifts are gradual - though i personally argue that's the common state, as opposed to a sharply defined change - especially with mental shifts. When i shift pretty far in to wolf, i don't act wolf in the obvious way, i just get quieter, cause verbalising is a pain in the arse, and i need to focus harder to do it. Therianthropy isn't really an excuse to add off..  (i meant act)
